The meaning of a glum face

Haha finally another topic to write about.

My facial expression! LOL

oh well.. many students say i always pull a long face in school.

The truth is, i haven't had a clue as to why it is so. It's natural if you were to ask me. Some students and even colleagues say that i look very fierce with that long-as-horse face.

Then some friends say i am 嘴硬心軟..

Well i really haven't really gave it much thought, but in certain ways, maybe it's because of work? It's really not cliche to say that teachers are often overworked nowadays... maybe i am always pulling a long face because i feel overworked?

Not to say that it has no advantages!

Sometimes i don't have to speak a single word and the students understand what i mean. Angry... unhappy... displeased...

Or maybe i want to tell students that i am serious.

haha i think my brain is not working fine now... so maybe i will talk about this in more detail next time.. if there is a next time :p

Results?

After 1000 pellets shot in the rifle range, 12 hrs of solid training, 3 dry shoot visits, we are proud to announce an almost 100% marksmen record.

But sometimes are results really that important?

Makes me wonder sometimes...

Teacher: Why are you playing with the ring?
Student: Teacher, i never play with the ring la.

Teacher: Don't bluff... give me the ring, i am going to disappear after putting it on.
Student: Teacher, don't bluff la.

Teacher: who says?
(takes the ring and put on his finger)

Teacher: See i disappear already.
Student: Teacher, you are blocking my eyes!

Frustrating

So frustrating! Its now 1906 hrs and i am still at the office doing admin for NPCC!

Shooting training just ended 1 hr ago and i am still stuck with admin.

Then cadets are having learning journey tmr and i have to write excuse letter so they can go shooting practice again... arrgghhzz... how am i going to finish my marking in time ever?

Suddenly i realised there isnt much time till the coming of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

There were so many things to do and the Classification shoot is also on the very same day. Then Ezra wanted us to send our boys for shooting first so that they could proceed for parade later.

OC said that the drawing of the M16 rifles would be a problem as we form up part of the guard of honour. Then there was the worry of not getting enough marksmen on the same day.

Can we get enough rehearsals for the CNY? How are we going to coordinate the performances and massive groups of people?

Marking?

Lessons?

It just seems like many many late hours...

因为那么一位好学生，所以更应该如此的坚持。

现今当教师，已非比昨天。资深的老教员常感叹往昔的美好，年轻一辈反迷失于白纸黑字之中。沮丧似乎常做伴，失望好像也爱缠。

但请不要忘记，希望还隐匿其中。不要沉溺于黑暗之中，反倒必须追求星希的火花，让失落无所遁藏。

努力寻找灿烂的光辉吧！
