Quite an interesting course and its good to know new knowledge and sharing experiences with the experts.
Haven't had so much fun in a while with courses already.
And it was not bad a lunch provided by Apple.
And of course a good dinner with pals from work. And the nice nice conversations, although they are too philosophical at times :p
Another day tomorrow and more things to rush!
And did i say that i am hungry again?

Teachers' Day celebrations!
Somehow that don't seem to be the case for the organizing teachers at all. Coordination to be worried about, prizes, decorations, rehearsals, participants, sound system, quality of performances. . all seem to twirl up as one as we try to list them out in a logical sequence.
These few days, perpetually feeling sleepy, just a little bit of rest time, one can just lie on the table and doze off to lala land.
Getting old or feeling sick?
Hopefully not on Teachers' Day!

Life!
Wow it's been a long long while since the blog moved.
Suddenly i recalled what Kaiz said to me and thought i should share my life a bit.
Pity it's very much revolved around school.
As usual breakfast was very rushed this morning as I had to attend a lunar 7th month dinner with family. Not that i like such events but somehow a sense of responsibility hangs over the notion to say yes. So after a long day at work, i had to rush back in a cab, bathed and before i know it, i was at the very very long dinner.
My understanding of a 中秋晚宴:raise money for charity, fund-raising, social networking, show of spending power, family get-together, etc. . .
My observation of the opera singers at the side: determination, passion, need to earn extra money, be able to sustain interest even if nobody else supports, etc. . .
then i only got to sleep at 0130hrs!
That explains why I am so tired on friday! and then whole day of lessons, clear admin, write emails, meet O for consultation, check out on talentime rehearsals, bring the Xi'an teacher out for dinner, then went out for another dinner with fren and then a movie and now i am at home writing this blog!
super busy rite? :p

life!
really great to be hanging out with friends after a long day at work, share about work and life and talking about the things we enjoy.
A nice cosy place to sit in and that about completes the equation.

Life life life life
Life seems to go into grey mode ever since I was made the Presiding Examiner for the school. Waking up at 5am daily and leaving the house by 6am and the earliest timing to reach home was 530pm. Makes you feel like you are totally zapped off the world besides doing your job. It is a rather demoralizing task to undertake, a lot of work, not much of people accrediting you... and to make it worse, there must be loads of people who will be hating you for it, with all the scoldings and naggings that you have to do.
After work, you don't feel like doing anything else, you just want to go home, and you just want to do nothing.
Thus it was with this setting that I went on to still participate in the New Balance Real Run this year. It was a terrible mistake to not keep up with the training, the run almost made me stop with all the seemingly endless distance and the terrible terrible heat. But I told myself that I must not stop; giving up is like saying i surrender, and that is something that is very unlike me. So it was with great effort and pain when the finishing line was finally crossed, and I am glad to say that it was an hour and 41 mins... way below expectations, but relieved in a sense that i had overcame, and i did not walk, no matter how slow i had been.
So now its on to the Standard Chartered, and i hope this time round, it would not be as painful as the previous!
